So this is from a few days ago (April 30th to be exact) but I recorded it in Discord and realized I need to record it here too. So without further ado, copied directly from my discord rambling:

the dog was barking at the front door all of a sudden, like super insistently

so finally I relented, picked him up so I had him securely, turned on the lights and looked out

Mr. Possum was buried hip-deep in the old dog food we put outside that we forgot to throw out (it had moths in it).

I closed the door as soon as I registered the opossum butt but roommate came back a few minutes later and walked out (holding the dog) to watch Mr. Possum back out of the bag, look around, and completely unbothered by us standing there, just wander back off into the bushes. XD

Toki just wagged his tail and watched with no attempt to get down and go after Mr. Possum either.

(Mr. Possum may well be a Ms. Possum for all we know but we call 'em Mr. Possum anyway. XD)

    I wish so badly that I'd gotten this on camera or even video but I didn't think about it until after the fact. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
